Episode 25 – Destroying The Red Widow’s Ears

In this experimental episode The Desert Curmudgeon exposes The Red Widow to some music to get her reaction and possibly warp her mind.

New Episodes And Ideas Coming Your Way!!!

Just a heads up!

We do have new episodes coming up that we are going to try out a new idea or segment that if they work out will be a new feature to the podcast or if not we’ll work it in to a new podcast series all together. Who knows? Maybe people will like it, maybe they won’t.

A Slight Update

I apologize for the long delay in the release of the current Red Widow And Desert Curmudgeon podcast episode (Episode 21). Just to reiterate; there is nothing negative going on between the Red Widow and myself. The only unfortunate thing is that my current job (as I’ve stated before) works me for about sixteen to twenty hours a day, six days a week. It really doesn’t give me much time to sit down with my co-host and record as often as we both would like to. The best way I could describe my job without going in to detail is that I kind of work something that is a cross between a temp job and being on-call. There are times where I come home completely exhausted and it carries over to the next day where I really don’t have the energy or feel like doing much because I have sometimes worked until about two or three in the morning.

You cannot blame the Red Widow as the sole responsibility for editing, mixing, and releasing episodes falls in my lap. I beg you to please be patient with me.

I am currently working on switching to another job but for right now that is a bit of a waiting game. I won’t lie it is tough to try to maintain your patience you just want things to change to allow you more freedom to do the things you enjoy doing.

If we could make money at our podcast that would be nice but neither one of us are about to beg our audience for anything when we both respectively work full-time jobs.

On a positive note I have created a Facebook group for the Red Widow and myself to brainstorm and jot down ideas and subjects for future episodes. The nice thing is this will also allow us to share articles back and forth for other things that might be of interest for us to talk about. We have ideas and subjects we REALLY want to discuss and have them recorded and brought to you our audience. Whomever you are!

Until then stay safe, be well!

The Resume Of Captain Pretentious

Here is the resume of The Red Widow’s late husband that we have been wanting to share but took a while to find something suitable to edit out the personal details (I.E. I needed to download an image editor.). Yes! I did make sure to get her permission before posting.

Here it is! In all of its glory!

A Quick Apology

A just a quick apology for anyone who actually has been waiting for us to release a new episode we decided to release two this week. Unfortunately since I handle the recording, editing, mixing, mastering, releasing, and announcement end of things I have been rather busy since my current job has been working me for unusually long hours and crazy times. But don’t fret friends we will still do this podcast series and I will eventually find a way to reclaim some free time and get things back on the ball.

Thankfully the Red Widow has been very patient and understanding with everything that has been going on with my end of things. Which is why I decided to record and release the two current episodes that kind of focus on her because the subjects she has been bringing up have been rather positive and fun and funny and make me laugh and keep my attention away from the negative things. I think if we would’ve went with the subjects that I would like to talk about they would quickly turn into either really bad griping sessions or just go full throttle in to the most angry and vitriolic tirades that would be ferociously negative.
